Item : Antique French Louis XV Style Cast Bronze Ormolu Figural Cherub / Putto "Sciences & Celestial" Mantel Clock in Rare Silver Gilt

Details : Clock movement signed " Mon Franjus Raison & Boyer Sucrs." Stunning cast and details of seated putto and celestial globe. Putto is seen studying and another example of this figural casting included a scroll and pen in hand. It is unconfirmed whether this piece originally had said scroll and pen, but they are no longer included if so. This is a remarkable example of fine French craftsmanship in a very rare silver gilt finish

Measurements : 11.5" H x 11.5" W x 5" D

Condition : Movement has not been tested so unsure if clock is in working order. Does not include pendulum. Good antique condition being structurally sound with age appropriate signs of normal use as pictured. Overall very nice. Please review all images as they are considered part of the item description.
