Antique 1893 World's Fair Columbian Exhibition Christopher Columbus Bronze Charge Plaque. "Celebrating the achievements of Christopher Columbus was designed by Francois Michel Louis Tonetti (1863-1920) for the 1893 World's Fair in Chicago by the Hausman Company of Niagara Falls, New York.

Surrounding the portrait of Columbus are scenes depicting his exploits with the words EXHIBITION OF CHICAGO / HIS ARRIVAL / DISCOVERY OF AMERICA 1492 / HIS COMING BACK. Signed in the cast, Tonetti Paris 1892.  Apparently crafted from cast copper, or bronze with copper brown patina." Circa Late 19th Century. Measurements: 1" H x 16.25" W x 16.25" D. 

ConditionVery good antique condition being structurally sound with age appropriate signs of normal use as pictured. Overall very nice. Please review all images as they are considered part of the item description.
