Electricity and plug do work and the unit does rotate when plugged in and plays records but the turn table appears to turn a bit slow resulting in a slower sound to the the song. Video of unit playing is available upon request. We are not professionals on these units and the item has not been inspected by a professional. We are selling the unit as is with age appropriate signs of normal use as pictured. Overall very nice. Please review all images as they are considered part of the item description.
